Fiber Artist Robin Wiltse

I was fortunate this past week to find a fibre artist of extraordinary talent and quite by accident. Her aunt is a concert buddy of mine and happened to post a link to Robin’s work on Facebook. Robin has submitted her work to 3rd Ward Open Call in NYC, a member-based art and design centre. Well, when I looked at her work I became an instant fan. The detail created via her felting, both wet and needled totally blew me away.

Please take a few minutes to stroll through her work and vote and vote often if you feel so inclined. Robin could win a solo show in NYC complete with month long residency and $5000.
